The Program

Sharpen your management skills and enhance your career at the North Orange County Community College District School of Continuing Education (SCE). SCE offers a certificate program aimed at individuals seeking comprehensive management training to improve their effectiveness on the job; individuals who want to prepare for career advancement in their current profession; and professionals who are seeking continuing education opportunities.

The SCE Management Program is a non-credit program based on instructional hours, rather than college units. The school offers these courses tuition free. Instructors may recommend textbooks for purchase to supplement instruction.

Courses

The Management Career Certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all program requirements. These include 10 required plus one elective computer course.

Business management courses are offered throughout the year within the SCE 12-week trimester. Each course is held one night per week for 6 weeks to accommodate a student's busy schedule. A variety of courses are offered each term for Fall, Winter, Spring and during the Summer session.
